The Corporation is formed for the purposes permitted to be exempt from taxation under Section 501(c)(4) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, as may be amended from time to time, or any corresponding equivalent provision of any future internal revenue code (the “Code”), including but not limited to, promoting civic engagement, community outreach, and the advancement of sound fiscal, education and economic policies for the common good and welfare of the United States, State of Illinois and City of Chicago.
